Movie Night

We will screen the documentary movie "The Creeping Garden" at the Davis Auditorium (the main room of BICT 2015) from 6pm to 8pm on Day 1 (December 3, Thu).

At 6pm sharp, the chairman of PhysNet 2015, Hans-Günther Döbereiner, will give short opening remarks, followed by the screening. A QA session will take place afterwards. Heather Barnett (artist and educator, featured in the movie) and Toshiyuki Nakagaki (a keynote speaker of BICT 2015) will be there.

The documentary has its debut in North America to critical acclaim. For reviews, see www.creepinggarden.com/press.

The accompanying book, The Creeping Garden: Irrational Encounters with Plasmodial Slime Moulds by Jasper Sharp (Author) and Tim Grabham (Photographer), as well as T Shirts will be on sale during Movie Night.

A conference registration includes a movie ticket. Extra ticket purchase is possible during registration process. Please note that a workshop registration does not include a movie ticket. Tickets are available to be purchased during registration process. Tickets are $12 each before November 3 and $15 afterward.

Poster Presentations

If your poster presentation is accepted, your poster will be displayed from 4:15pm 6:00pm at December 4 (Fri) in the Davis Atrium, which is an atrium in front of the Davis Auditorium. Davis Auditorium is the main room for BICT 2015. It is Room 412 (4th floor) at the Schapiro Center for Engineering and Physical Science Research (Schapiro CEPSR).

There will be a coffee break from 4:00pm to 4:15pm. Please try to set up your poster during the break. Equipment will be available at the conference registration desk, which will be in Davis Atrium.

The size of your poster is up to 3 feet by 4 feet. An easel, a form board and pins/tapes will be provided at the venue. Both landscape and portrait posters work with the equipment. Note that poster printing service will not be provided by BICT 2015. You are expected to print out and bring your poster to the venue.
